Truth or Dare?
The “pulling out” method is totally unreliable
Sex myths are everywhere! Everyone swears they know a friend, of a friend, whose friend got pregnant even though she used two condoms or showered straight after sex or swore you couldn’t get knocked up the first time you have sex. Most of them are false, so if you want to stay safe during sex, read on as we bust the five most common sex myths!

The Myth: If a guy doesn't ejaculate during sex, you can’t get pregnant.

The Truth: The “pulling out” method is totally unreliable when it comes to preventing pregnancy because as soon as a guy becomes aroused, he begins producing precum. This fluid contains a small amount of sperm, which can still result in pregnancy. As well as leaving you unprotected from pregnancy, the pulling out method also leaves you unprotected from STI’s. The only way to protect yourself 100% from pregnancy and STI’s is to avoid sex altogether. But if you are having sex, the best protection is a contraceptive pill and a condom.
