Ok i don't know about the rest of you but i am having a hard time with this dieting. Low fat high fibre is the onme i'm on now. And i was thinking instead of paying for those stupid diet groups lets start one here. Having a craving? Dying for a burger? Need chocolate? Get it all out here! and maybe we can help eachother. Recipe suggestions. How to beat cravings. Let others know what has worked for you!

Ok, ok :) :) I so want to be part of this thread :) I'm trying this detox thing, it's basically four weeks of vegetables, fruit and water. But my mum makes me eat proper dinners with loads of stuff in...not that I shouldn't be eating healthily, just that I'd rather she complied with what I'm trying to do :) I get really silly cravings, and I always give in :/ So this thread should be a well good idea :D |

Oh tell me about it. For breakfasts most days i have brown bread toast with a boiled egg or a really high fiber cereal. Then for lunch I have a chicken salad sandwich on brown. But for dinner there isn't just me eating so we end up having things everyone eats instead of the diet options. It's so hard. I crave chocolate dairylea the most. I love dairylea on toast but its too high in fat.
I have found that home made chicken dippers are good though. Buy some chicken breast and cut it into strips. Buy some bread crumbs and put it all in a beg together and shake well. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes gas mark 6 - 180 degree's. You can have that with some sauce or with some potatoes etc or they r good as a snack on their own. Chicken is fat free if you take off the skin. |

Chips are my downfall to diets so i decided to make 'healthy' chips. Basically cut potatoes into chip slices or even wedges, put in a baking tray spray one cal fry lite spray (from supermarket)or a little vegetable oil. Cook in oven for about 20mins on gas mark 6 or longer if needed. I even put a bit of pepper or herbs on for more flavour.

the best way to lose wight, is over a long period of time (rather that these 'fashion' diets, like the special k 2 week diet) that way the weight will come off, and stay offishbr /> also its worth doing cardio exercize.

I'm trying to make sure I eat in the morning to keep my metabolism going, because I have THE slowest metabolism going, haha, but I got up too late :/ So I ended up with Weetabix for lunch haha. I love Weetabix in this dieting thing, it's all healthy and keeps you full for aaaaaaages :) |
