Well I left school and did a two year course at college and now i'm a bum :S I wanted to go onto University but I couldn't decide what I wanted to do. I did animal care at college so it would make sense to do something animal-related but I would love to do fashion design at Uni, but to do that i'd have to do a fashion course at college first and to do that, i'd need to do a 1 year introductory art course or something like that! Which put me off completely! I'd need to study for 3 years BEFORE Uni! :O

Im still at college now just finished my first year and I have one more to go. Im wanting to be a Social Worker, so Im going to go to University to get my degree and if I at the moment Im hoping to pursue to a masters degree. Its four years for a masters so I have a lot of time to change my mind but I doubt I will change my career plan.

Good luck to you all waiting for your results. Its the worse wait ever, but hopefuly it will be worth it :)

I'm starting A levels in September, then I might take a year out or may just go straight to uni (not sure where yet, maybe aberystwyth) to study either creative writing&english literature OR journalism
:)

Up until now i had my sights set on Uni...Wanted to Major in French, with Linguistics and Forensic Biology.
But i don't think i can hack 4 more years of education.
It's gonna take some serious consideration though.

I bet you start to change your mind when you're at uni. I had the exact same attitude, then you realise that really is f'u'c'k'ing hard work. I'm not saying you don't work hard, but its a real shock. I'm at the point now where I'm stressed most of the time and think I can't wait to get a job when I can come home and forget about what happened at the office, rather than spending another 4 years after this degree doing more.

I think I only want a Ph.D so I get to be a 'doctor' if I'm honest. Though I would like to lecture maybe. I can't afford to do a masters and you don't get any funding, with Ph.Ds you get sponsorship.

Because grad prospects for my course are so low, I want to take a postgraduate degree. Probably an MA in Journalism or Art History.
