Posted - 27/06/2008 : 14:22:30 Im 17 & a student at college but Ive been paying like £45 tax and £20 National insurance which is a lot of money out of my wage!
Does any other students pay tax? And is there anything I can do?

Whats your tax code? If its something BR or W1 then you are on emergancy tax. You need to ask your employer to get you a P46 for you to fill in and send back to the tax office so they can sort out your correct tax code. |

Posted - 27/06/2008 : 19:31:44 Do your earn over £3000 (i think?) a year. If not then you can claim it back. But if u earn over that then they will tax you. |
