Im in year 9 and Ive just had my French gcses. I didnt take the higher papers, but Im taking them next year, or in year 11, Im not sure. They were pretty easy, hardest was the writing coursework, but everything else was pretty straightforward. Has anyone else been taking French? xxx

I took French for GCSE and I found the written exams pretty easy, but the speaking exam was quite tough. If you enjoy French and you study hard for it, then it should be easy for you :)

I took French. Quite liked it really, thought about taking it at AS at one point too. The only thing I hate and find quite tedious is the memorising :P

And highter paper french is not that hard after youv revised and done stuff in class..
you just have to pick out certain words to know what its saying, and stuff..so its not overly hard!
Go with it, am sure ull do well if you revise nd that :):)
