in a cake? i'm making my mum a chocolate orange baked alaska thing, orange icecream and sorbet in the middle
and we don't have any whiskey, which is one of the ingredients, so i need to decide whether to use brandy or rum?

definately rum,
rum goes better with fruits, brandy goes better with sweet things such as chocolate. |

Sounds yummy :o) Either rum or brandy goes well with chocolate although I'd say probably rum is better with the orange |
