The Pitch
Single guy- about-town Tom is a player, serial dating girls and spilling the details to his mates. But throughout all his womanising, his best friend in the world is Hannah. They’ve been platonic friends for 10 years but when she goes overseas on business Tom realises Hannah is ‘The One’ and decides he wants to settle down with her. He plans on telling her the big news upon her return but she has some news of her own –she’s got engaged and wants him to be her maid of honour! Oops!

The Talent
If you’re craving a bit of McDreamy in your life and have worn out your Grey’s Anatomy DVDs, then fear not as this is another chance to swoon at the gorgeous Patrick Dempsey. Michelle Monaghan from The Heartbreak Kid plays best friend Hannah and you might recognise Scottish actor Kevin McKidd from the classic Brit flick Trainspotting who plays her fiancé.

The Verdict
Even if you’re sick to the back teeth of wedding romcoms, this one does take a slightly different approach and is cute, funny and sad at times. This is the perfect film to stick on for a night in with the girls – don’t forget the Haribos though!
