Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer (PG)
The Pitch
Having grown accustomed to their unexpected superpowers in the first installment, the Fantastic Four are back, and primed to take on the dark side. The Silver Surfer has arrived on Earth and he’s hell bent on destruction! But with his enemies momentarily distracted by a new nemesis, the four’s old arch rival, Dr Doom, takes his chance to plot a revenge greater than anyone could have imagined.
The Talent
When Chris Evans first hit our screens as Johnny Storm in the first Fantastic Four, he ignited a crush that’s had us counting down the days to this sequel. Chris looks just as good second time around, alongside the equally delicious Ioan Gruffudd, and while you feast your eyes on the boys, let your crush drool over a lycra-clad Jessica Alba. It’s only fair!
The Verdict
The first film was a box-office smash so it’s little surprise all of the original cast signed up for the sequel! And what a sequel it’s turned out to be. Slicker and sexier than the first, it mixes the same all out action and comedy of the first film, with a darker script to trounce its predecessor!
