Traveling Like the Light

VV Brown

In A Nutshell

Already the darling of the music scene, much vaunted Northampton born Vanessa, a.k.a VV Brown releases her debut album. She might have started out as a backing singer for the likes of Madonna, Westlife and the Pussycat Dolls, but VV created a storm  all of her own with singles Crying Blood and Shark in the Water. Not straying from the brilliance trail, Traveling Like the Light is a 12 track journey to the centre of VV’s kooky la la land…

What’s It Like?

Infectious, catchy and unashamedly pop – Traveling Like The Light is a sure summer soundtrack. A mish mash of styles, VV’s powerful voice is the one constant – a versatile instrument that she uses to maximum potential. Bottles features a Duffy esque sixties pop approach while Leave! and  Crying Blood are excellent fifties doo wop ditties. A fab debut, this lady proves there’s an authentic musician behind the gloss.
