X Factor winner Alexandra Burke celebrated her 21st birthday in style yesterday by receiving luxurious gift from her millionaire mates. The best of the bunch came from her former mentor Cheryl Cole who splashed out the big bucks on a £5,000 trip to the five-star Constance Lémuria resort in the Seychelles. Cheryl and hubby Ashley honeymooned on the same island in 2006. A source revealed, "Alex was in tears. Things just couldn't be better for her. When she gets back from the Seychelles, her PR company have sorted her a free stay in the best suite available at The Kensington Hotel in west London."
The lucky singer also had her pick of handbags as Simon Cowell gave her a Chanel number, Dannii got her a grey one by designer Tabitha and she treated herself to another by Louis Vuitton. She invested money received from friends and family in pieces from Stella McCartney, Christian Louboutin and Tiffany & Co.
It wasn’t all special treatment though as Alexandra was in the Radio 1 studios at 7.30am to give the first play of her new single Bad Boys. She later had a family dinner at Nobu followed by drinks at Shoreditch House with friends including X Factor runners-up JLS.
