Up until now Peter Andre has retained a dignified silence following his split from wife Katie Price, but the singer finally opened up about his heartache in an interview with Chris Moyles on Radio 1 this morning. Asked whether he and Katie would ever reconcile their relationship he said, “No way. What's done is done, you know? Look...s**t she's the mother of my children and there'll always be love... S**t, I dunno what to say."
He revealed to the DJ that he hardly spoke to his wife in the weeks following their announced separation, but that he hoped they would become friendly for the sake of the kids. Pete explained, "The hardest bit is acceptance. When you accept it then you can move forwards. I was very down, and it was tough – but I've moved on. It's not just one reason; it's a number of reasons. You know what? For every bad that someone has, there's always good. I don't want her to be getting bad press; I don't want her to feel that pain."
Things are looking up for Pete, as he’s just been signed as the face of US brand Ed Hardy in the UK. Designer Christian Audigier approached the Aussie star a few days ago to help launch the Ed Hardy store in London. Pete joked that his model physique was down to his marital split stating, "It's amazing how stress keeps you trim. I'm might be looking all right, but I'm not feeling OK."
