Something fishy must be going on in Celebville – we told you yesterday that Nadine Coyle was seen weighing her fish dish at posh eatery The Ivy – and now Sienna Miller, Stephen Fry and Charlize Theron have blasted another top London restaurant for putting endangered Blue Fin Tuna on its menu.
The angry letter, delivered to restaurant boss Nobu Matsuhisa yesterday, read: “We feel strongly that Blue Fin Tuna must be completely removed from your menu as it is an extremely endangered animal.” They wrote it was a “tragedy” that the creature could be extinct in as little as four years. A host of other celebs including model Elle Macpherson also signed the letter.
Last night, Stephen Fry said: “It’s lunacy. There’s no justification for peddling extinction.” A spokesperson for Nobu was unavailable to comment. There must be something in the water!
