Happy-go-lucky popsters, McFly, have got into trouble with advertising standards who feel that the band’s Christmas ad could influence crazed fans to give each other human heads for Christmas! The boys new promo for their radio album, Active, featured a festive scene with people exchanging gifts, only for one to open a box and find bassist, Dougie Poynter’s head in it. The four were forced to re-edit the clip – at great expense. A source has said “Everyone is a bemused. It means expense and inconvenience for all concerned. The scene is harmless.” So, now the head thing’s cleared up, let’s just hope no-one breaks a leg trying to copy one of the bands skateboarding videos! Check out the lads in MKP’s McFly gallery!
