Comedy duo Ant and Dec wrongly won a British Comedy Award as the organisers promised Robbie Williams he could present the gong to them- even though Catherine Tate was the real winner! An investigation revealed that ITV bosses rigged the vote for the People’s Choice Award in 2005 as they had already promised Robbie that Ant & Dec would win, even though it was a category voted for by the public and in actual fact The Catherine Tate Show received the most votes.
