"Does Jessica Simpson think she’s the next Angelina? Well it certainly looks that way after the Newlyweds star visited a Mexican orphanage recently. The star dropped by the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Lareddo, Mexico, arriving in a brand new mini van that she later donated to the orphange. Jess had actually won a sports car in an MTV competition but requested a mini van instead - just for the kids! Ahhh!
“The kids were cheering when she pulled up,” Simpson's rep told People magazine. “They surrounded the car and were so excited to see her. They kept saying, 'Muchas gracias! Muchas gracias!' A few of them spoke English and said, 'We love you, Jessica!” Jess was accompanied by her mum and dad on the visit but new boyfriend John Mayer stayed in LA.
