We really were rooting for Jen and Vince, but it seems that the comedy duo are well and truly over. Us Weekly has devoted its front page to the story, quoting Vince’s close friend who has leaked the truth about the couple’s alleged split. Remember though this is the same magazine that declared that the actors were getting hitched only a couple of months ago… so watch this space. Meanwhile, Rachel Bilson was spotted out with JC Chasez (formely of NSYNC) this week, fuelling rumours that she and the gorgeous Adam Brody are on a break. Last week the foxy actress was spotted partying with bachelor-about-town Zach Braff, so she’s definitely not helping to put Adam’s mind at ease.
One celeb has at least come clean about her relationship, albeit a little brutally. Nicole Ritchie has posted comments on her MySpace page saying that she and so-called new beau, Brody Jenner, were never really serious in the first place:
"I know there are rumors regarding my 'breakup' with Brody Jenner. The truth is, we were never really together. We hung out, and he's a nice guy, but my heart was never in it.”
Ouch! That’s gotta hurt. Poor Brody!
