He plays a boy wizard with magic at his fingertips in Harry Potter, but Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that in real life he suffers from a medical condition that effects his hand coordination. Dyspraxia is a neurological problem that can have an impact on a person’s ability to plan sequences of movement and therefore makes basic tasks seem difficult.Daniel says of tying his shoelaces, "Sometimes I think, 'Why, oh, why, has Velcro not taken off?'” The Equus star is positive about his condition however; as he says it was the reason why his Mum first allowed him to go for acting auditions. He said of his low confidence, "I was having a hard time at school in terms of being c**p at everything." The actor’s agent confirmed, "Yes, Daniel does have dyspraxia. This is something he has never hidden. Thankfully his condition is very mild and at worst manifests itself in an inability to tie his shoe laces and bad handwriting."
