| Hi Cat, First of all you shouldn’t worry at all about not having a boyfriend, I had only had one girlfriend before I was 16. Although all your friends claim to have relationships going on, I personally found that most of my mates never found anything serious until they were 17 or 18 and so you shouldn’t feel like you are missing out. My mates and I thought we should go out with people just to say that we had but in the end forced relationships don’t work so none ever really lasted. You say that you don’t like any guys at your school and that’s fine. Rather than going out with one of them just so that you can say that you are with someone, I would wait until you meet someone that you actually really like. You will find that in the next couple of years that you will go out more and meet new people from outside your school who you do really like. I’ve gone out with girls who I didn’t have that much in common with and I’ve gone out with ones that I have really clicked with and I promise you that it is worth waiting for. |
